Addicted to Do-Gooding

This blog originally appeared a few years ago on Pulse and the LeanNonprofit.com website. It's all about how workaholism is still rampant, even in mission-focused work (but is especially insidious in that space, because we think it's all OK as long as we're working for a cause). It was an early foray into my exploration of how the martyr archetype plays out in the nonprofit sector - and how we can make different choices and learn from what that archetype has to teach us - that we don't have to die for a cause to make a real difference in the world.
