On October 3, 2026 Venus goes into the underworld for 41 days and 41 nights. This year, she's delving into Scorpio and Libra and themes of love, sex, and money are at hand.
This mythic period of 41 days and 41 nights when Venus disappears into the underworld as an evening star and comes back a morning star, is a portal to transformation for us as well. The underworld is where we go to transform. To be buried and resurrected. Like Inanna we are stripped of parts of ourselves we never thought we could let go of and still survive. In the underworld we compost our experiences and mistakes and losses to fertilize what wants to emerge now.
Why I’m Doing This
I decided this year I am going on this underworld journey with Venus. As a Scorpio moon and Libra rising, it just feels like I'll be on the vacation to Hades with her anyway, might as well bring a flashlight. And then I thought, well, if I'm going to be going back to this old, familiar territory I have trod so recently and for so very long, I may as well bring some people who are ready to inhabit their lush lives with me.

The Itinerary
Over the course of the Venus Retrograde, we will gather for four live sacred ceremonies on Zoom to initiate, activate, and transform your relationship and experience with love, sex, and money. We meet Tuesdays in in October at noon Pacific.
Tuesday, October 6 - Unification of Body, Mind, & Spirit
Our first initiation takes us deep into the body to unite our minds and spirits with our flesh and bone. Starting here is crucial because the body itself is the place healing happens. This sacred ceremony will wed you back to yourself.
Tuesday, October 13 - Money
Our second initiation gets us started on the very rude dinner conversation topic of money. Money is complicated in our culture. On one hand, it's just energy - just paper or numbers on a screen we all agree mean something. On the other hand, most of us have experienced any number of money wounds, and may be carrying trauma or grief or fear around money. The good news is, we can learn how to cultivate a healthier relationship with money so we can welcome more of her presence in our lives and wallets. This initiation will focus on your root chakra and your material and physical needs to increase stability.
Tuesday, October 27 - Sex
Our third sacred ceremony will work with your sacral chakra to initiate you into your sacred sexual self - a sovereign being who has full and total determination about their sexual preferences, needs, and desires. This part of you may feel like it needs attention - we get caught up in daily life and might lose our desire, might not feel like we have energy, might not think it's important enough to give our attention to it. But erotic energy and full ownership of your sexual self is a fundamental part of showing up as your entire self. You only live once in this body - this initiation will open the door to helping you enjoy this life a bit more. Your sacral chakra governs pleasure - this initiation will help you open the gate to allow more of it.
Tuesday, November 3 - Love
Our final ceremony will focus on our relationships - whether it's one you're in, one you want, or one you've left, this initiation will take you into your solar plexus to transform the way you show up in relationships. Most of the templates we have for relationships are broken. Most of us start out doing pretty well with someone only to find ourselves enmeshed in the same patterns we thought we left behind with our last partner. This ceremony will help you experience and understand where you begin and end so you can be attuned to yourself and your loved ones without losing your shape or your power.
After all this, you'll come back to the ordinary world more stable, aligned, and integrated than you left it.
