A (Sort Of) Normal Bio:
Sarai Johnson is an anarchist witch, sexologist, author, speaker, and podcast host (Cauldron Her Daddy, with Meredith Holley). She believes every person already holds the power to know what's right for them and choose their own path, and her work exists to help people reclaim that power after living through the systems built to override it: high control religion, purity culture, patriarchy, and every other structure that teaches you to distrust your own body.
She has two decades of experience managing businesses, nonprofits, people, and projects, plus a life spent training in whatever called to her: somatics, sexology, energy work, witchcraft, community development, even recycling markets and home loans. All of it lives in the same cauldron now. Now she helps people find the sovereignty they always had, even when they weren't allowed to know it.
At home, Sarai enjoys her two delightful human children, and her two cats, Davy Crockett and Buttahfinga.
My Approach to the Work
You know how most of us were raised to override our own body just to get by, and now we can't tell the difference between what we actually want and what we're supposed to want?
I help people who are tired of performing instead of living to reclaim their bodies and lives, so they can enjoy pleasure, rest, and desire now, instead of waiting until they've suffered enough to earn it.

What's in the Cauldron
People ask me what a witch is doing with a Master of Public Administration. Short answer: everything ends up in the same pot eventually.
Learning and gaining mastery is a life-long pursuit. In my days of honing my personal and professional skills, I have earned credentials and received valuable training from wonderful teachers and also regular institutions of higher learning.

And last but not least, a surprisingly useful degree from my peri-Christian days, a Bachelor of Ministry from Central Christian College of Kansas. This education provided me with a variety of skills I continue to use in my work to this day. Philosophy, theology, pastoral ministry (caring for a community’s spiritual wellbeing), counseling, public speaking, and a host of other related education and practice all remain part of my work today, outside of the high control religious context. I’m grateful for my experiences in college, and especially thank Larry Anderson, DTh, for asking questions I just had to answer for myself, and for saying that he’s a Christian even though his wife is a Republican. I didn’t know those were two different things until he said that. For real.
