The Witching Hour

An hour of focused attention on you and your situation.

The Witching Hour with me is more than just 60 minutes - though it is that too. It’s a welcoming into my witching kitchen, where my cauldron bubbles with all the experience, training, wisdom, and magick I have been brewing my entire life. Bring your problems and your dreams - your most urgent needs, your most compelling desires - and we will work the magick together. 

What actually happens in the hour

We name The Thing Underneath the Thing. 

Named things can be healed. Unnamed things just haunt. As you bring your question or problem or dream to the table, we will clarify and define it so you can see it clearly.

We envision where you're headed. 

What wants to be changed, healed, transformed, grown, ended, or achieved? What does it look like to be on the other side of this? You can't walk toward something you can't picture. We define the destination so you can move toward it.

I stir my cauldron. This is where it gets interesting. I’m an eclectic anarchist witch and I bring my spiritual prowess, certainly; and I bring every professional and personal experience and credential to bear on your specific problem. I’m a somatic sexologist and intimacy coach, yes. And also a trained yoga teacher, reiki master, former homeownership counselor, business coach, Master Recycler (hey, who knows if you need a solution related to recycling markets, you never know!), and a witch who has been witching everything before I even knew witching was a thing. 

Whatever your problem actually needs, that's what comes forward.

You leave with a Magickal Working. Before we complete our time together, you receive a real, specific act you carry out into your life, aligned to the exact thing we found and tended together. Sometimes it's a spell. Sometimes it’s a ritual. Sometimes it's a phone call you've been avoiding. Sometimes it's a boundary spoken out loud for the first time. Whatever it is, it's yours, it's specific, and it's already in motion the moment you leave the call.

How I work, and what I won't do

While this is fun for me, I also take my work seriously, so here's how I hold it.

I honor sovereignty first. Yours and everyone else's, including people who aren't in the room. That means I won't cast, counsel, or work toward changing another person's will, feelings, or choices without their consent. No love spells aimed at making someone specific fall for you. No binding someone else's free will to your outcome, ever, for any price. Real magick moves through your own field, your own actions, your own alignment. That's the only kind I do. I help you get in touch with your own magick - and it is for you.

I work with you, not on someone else. If your problem or dream involves another person, we work with your part of it: what you bring, what you can shift, what you can ask for honestly. Their side is theirs to own.

I'm not a replacement for medical or mental health care. If something you bring needs a doctor, a therapist, or a specialist, I'll say so, and I'll help you find your way there rather than pretending I have every answer. I’m not a doctor and I’m not a therapist - I’m a witch. There’s room for all of us on your care team!

What's said in the hour stays in the hour. Confidentiality isn't a policy for me, it's a practice.

I'll tell you when something is outside what I can help you with. I have a deep and roomy cauldron, not an infinite one. If your thing needs a hand I don't have, I'll say so plainly and point you toward one that does.

This is the same sovereignty-first belief that runs through everything else I make or do: you get to choose your own path, and so does everyone else.
